7-10 a.m. Free Drip Coffee in the Café – Kick your day off in the Central Market coffee bar with a fresh cup of coffee, on us. Also, be sure to enter to win one of the ten $100 gift cards we’ll award in honor of our birthday.
4-6 p.m. Let Them Eat Cake – Our talented pastry chefs are baking up a birthday cake happy hour so everyone who comes in the front Produce entrance can have a sweet treat. Be sure to view the recreation of the store made of cake and frosting, created by Central Market’s famed cake decorator Dindo on display for all to see.
11 a.m.–4 p.m. Show Us Your Best Foodie Face – Pick up a silly prop like a chefs hat, spatula, lollipop mustache and more and jump in the Food-o-Booth (‘photo booth’) with friends or solo to create a memorable set of photos to take home.
12-2 p.m. Meet Denise Gee, Author of “Sweet on Texas: Loveable Confections from the Lone Star State”. She’ll be talking about her tantalizing dishes featuring famed recipes from the best bakeries across the Lone Star state. Join us for a book signing and meet the author event.
2-4 p.m. Mix it up with 102.9 NOW during a live radio remote with giveaways on the half hour.
11a.m.–5 p.m. Feel the H.E.A.T. – Central Market’s food truck will roll up its windows and lock its parking brake to serve up signature burgers, tacos, fries and more to hungry passers-by. Plus the Preston Royal Fire Department will bring one of its trucks, too, for kids to explore with local firemen.
1-5 p.m. Band on the Run – Beatles-inspired band rocks the Sunday. Grab a spot in the cafe to enjoy the tunes.
5-7 p.m. Sip and Savor – Join us for a wine tasting and bottle signing in the wine department with the founders of Truchard Vineyards.
