Join us on Saturday, August 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside on the patio.  We'll be slaving over a hot grill to bring you lunch-time hotdogs for only $1.00.  All proceeds benefit United Way of Tarrant County, whose efforts have changed the lives of many across our community.  If you'd like to give a little more, donations are greatly appreciated. Finding a Favorite New Pinot Noir

If you're looking to explore a new red, just a few sips have us recommending the  2010 Domaine Arnoux, Bourgogne.

Its tart cherry and cranberry are rounded out with notes of minerality.  It features a bright acidity and a silky, light texture.

From one of the premiere parcels of land in the region, the old vines and complex terroir combine to create one of our favorites.

The Annual No-Holds-Barred Hatch Chile Recipe Contest Begins!

Every year we receive hundreds of entries from self-professed Hatch Chile Heads. Recipes for appetizers, sides, main dishes, desserts – even drinks! – are entered by Hatch hopefuls looking to win the grand prize of a $100 Central Market gift card, a years worth (75 lbs.) of roasted peppers, and a lifetime of bragging rights.

The contest begins anew this year and entries can easily be submitted online.  

Between July 25 and August 13, show us what your best dish is made of. Be selected as a finalist and you'll be invited to cook up your best Hatch batch and bring it to your Central Market store to compete amongst like-minded Hatch fans. Winners also have their recipe featured here and in our Hatch Chile Recipe App (coming soon to iTunes.)

Bragging may be frowned upon. But with so many others bragging on our staff, our offerings and our quality, we couldn't resist sharing some recent kudos we've received.
