Central Market Introduces Bigger, Better, Moister Scratch-Made Muffins

Our artisan bakers listened to your requests for a bigger, moister, healthier muffins. True to our mantra, they went to work, humming around the test kitchen and developing some of the most unique and robust flavor combinations to hit your morning palate.

You can now stop in and savor the distinct pairings of balsamic-soaked strawberries with chevre; our antioxidant powerhouse muffin loaded with acai, goji, blackberries and pomegranate; or pear ginger and white chocolate apricot. Even the classic blueberry muffin has been reengineered with more blueberries to amplify freshness and flavor.

It all starts with a traditional, scratch-made buttermilk batter that, when baked, melts in your mouth. Our bakery leader, Edouard Damez, says it best, “When you are working with the best-quality fruits, nuts and truly well-trained artisan bakers, it somehow all comes together with hard work.”

But taste was just the beginning. You can’t create an exemplary artisan muffin and present it in a regular old muffin liner. It has to be rightfully packaged in an Italian tulip-shaped liner in a rustic brown hue. From batter to liner, we assure you: these are works of art!
